RFP #2017-7-1 Solid Waste Collection, Disposal, and Recycling Services

The Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque is requesting proposals from qualified Offerors to provide comprehensive solid waste management services to include, solid waste collection, disposal, and recycling for residential, commercial, mobile home parks, and apartment customers within the Village’s municipal boundaries.  Proposals submitted shall be valid for ninety days (90) and subject to action by the Village. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in part or in whole.  Completed proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope indicating the proposal title and number in addition to the Offer’s name and address which must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.  RFP#2017-7-1 will be issued on Monday, July 17, 2017. Proposals are due at 5:00pm prevailing time on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Village Hall, located at 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Los Ranchos, NM 87107.  The Offeror is certifying their proposal complies with regulations and required as stipulated in the Request for Proposals upon submission.

RFP#2017-5-1 - Fourth Street Revitalization and Redesign Construction

The Village of Los Ranchos is requesting proposals from qualified Offerors to: Construct a complete street that will transform this portion of Fourth Street into a vibrant retail district. The project includes brick and concrete sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping, water features, street furniture, lighting, gateway structures, a sound system, on-street parking, subsurface drainage structures, new pavement and a decorative center turn lane. All proposals submitted shall be valid for ninety days (90) and subject to action by the Village. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in part or in whole. A complete proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the following clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: proposal title, proposal number, and the Offer’s name and address. Proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. local prevailing time on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Village Hall, located at 6718 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Los Ranchos, NM 87107. The Offeror is certifying their proposal complies with all rules and regulations as stipulated in the Request for Proposals upon submission.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. (MST) at Village Hall.  Village Hall is located at 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Los Ranchos NM, 87107.  Attendance of the Pre-Proposal Conference is non-mandatory.

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque Board of Trustees will consider the following items at their Regular meeting on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, 7:00p.m. at the Warren J. Gray Hall, 6718 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Los Ranchos NM, 87107.   Applications may be viewed at Village Offices at the above address from 8:00a.m to 12:00p.m. and by appointment 12:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. weekdays. A.  An appeal by Gary Mulryan of Planning and Zoning Commission approval of Variance V-17-02 -  A request by Isidro Castillo for a Variance from 9.2.7(E)(a)2. Side setback shall be fifteen (15) feet. Board of Trustees - 2017 Regularly Scheduled Meeting Dates 

The Board of Trustees meeting scheduled on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 is canceled.  The Board of Trustees will meet in the following regularly scheduled meetings commencing at 7:00p.m. at Village Hall located at 6718 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Los Ranchos, NM 87107:  July 12, 2017; August 9, 2017; September 13, 2017; October 11, 2017; November 8, 2017; December 13, 2017.  


Village of Los Ranchos  Storm Water Management Plan and Annual Report 2015/2016

The Village of Los Ranchos has prepared a draft Stormwater Management Plan and Annual Report, as required by the Village’s NPDES Permit, summarizing activities directed toward reducing surface water pollution from storm water runoff.  Click HERE to view a draft of the 2016 annual report.  Click HERE to view the  Storm Water Permit Management Plan Spreadsheet.  A forty-five (45) day public comment period associated with this report begins October 17,2016 and comments will be accepted until November 30, 2016.
