Below is the archive for the plan development public input process. You can view the public input schedule and meeting summaries, background information on the topics in the plan, previous Los Ranchos Master Plans, and telephone survey results.
What is the Master Plan?
The Village has used a Master Plan since 1992 to describe the Village and identify goals and objectives for the future. A Master Plan shapes development for current and future welfare of the community. Much broader than ordinances, the Master Plan does not bind the Village to specific procedures but is rather a guide and aid for interpretation and decision-making.
Why update the Master Plan?
The period of the 2020 Master Plan is coming to a close and, as is only natural over time, conditions and perceptions of the Village have changed. Updating the plan reflects these changes and helps us all to prepare for years to come.
Public Input Schedule
