The Green Waste Drop-Off Program is a partnership between The Village of Los Ranchos, Soilutions, and Waste Management. You can drop off your yard trimmings at our chipping yard, and we will coordinate with Waste Management to transport them to Solutions for composting. Our goal is to divert green waste from landfills and reuse green material through sustainable methods.

The Green Waste Drop-Off will start Thursday, Aug 15th at the chipping yard located at 8604 Rio Grande Blvd NW. It will be a weekly service on Thursdays from 12 – 4 pm. The program accepts yard waste like leaves, tree trimmings, weeds, grass clippings, and more. We accept a maximum of 18-inch diameter branches. We do not accept pet waste, food scraps, or chemicals.

This program is open to all residents and registered businesses in Los Ranchos.

This program is aimed at yard waste. Kitchen scraps can be dropped off at the Agri-Nature Center to be composted.
