Join us the learn how to make small-batch wine from your backyard grapes! Bill Shen, Master Gardener Instructor and experienced wine maker, will show you how to turn your grapes into wine with minimal equipment.   You can grow 2-4 grape vines in your backyard arbor to produce 5-10 gallons (25-50 bottles) of wine.  You will learn the process of picking ripe grapes, crushing with fists or even feet, fermenting with wine yeast, pressing out the fermented juice after a week, and aging wine in glass carboy.  We will demonstrate the first few steps of wine making with freshly picked grapes and a tour of wine making in progress in AgriNature Center. 21+ only. $5 per person.
