Planning & Zoning Director
The Village of Los Ranchos is seeking a diligent professional to serve as the Planning and Zoning Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in planning review. This role requires a model leader that demonstrates responsible decisions who can effectively coordinate a program with multiple deliverables while ensuring compliance with ordinances, regulations, and enforcement thereof. Considerable knowledge of the State of New Mexico Open Meetings Act Compliance Guide and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment).

Animal Control/Animal Husbandry
Under the supervision and direction of the Agri-Nature Program Director this individual will perform a variety of animal control functions, animal husbandry related functions, and routine maintenance work at the Agri-Nature Center. This position performs routine enforcement work with respect to the control, care, custody, adoption or relocation of stray or surrendered animals. Assures compliance with Village animal control ordinance and community engagement by providing education on the best practices of the care, raising, and keeping of domesticated animals/livestock throughout the Village.

Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer
The Village of Los Ranchos is seeking a diligent, experienced individual for Enforcement in the Planning and Zoning Department. The Code Enforcement/ Animal Control position requires a comfort level with enforcing a broad range of ordinances including zoning, land use regulations as well as Animal Responsibility regulations of the Village. The position assures compliance with Village animal control ordinance and community engagement by providing education and a flexible schedule. Performs a variety of animal control functions.

Experienced Seasonal Farmer
The Experienced Farm Worker, under the direction of the Agricultural Program Director, will help with the development and growth while improving the viability and sustainability of agricultural operations in the Village of Los Ranchos. The farm worker will help with the assistance in developing a strong sustainable farming community in Los Ranchos. The qualified candidate needs to reflect a person who can contribute to new agriculture techniques while driving the mission of Agriculture for the Village.
